I posted recently about MBNA and AMX reducing my credit limit (about 2 weeks ago now) and their decision to do this was because I have added some other debt, even though I have paid all creditors perfectly. I was expecting a similar action by some of my other CC companies and am still watching carefully. Today, Chase INCREASED by credit limit to the amount that MBNA decreased my limit. Why would they do that if MBNA and AMX went the other way? Am I missing something, or did someone at Chase enter a + instead of a -? Just curious, because if they all operate off of the same rules, why would one react so differently than the other two?

Your opinions appreciated.
