What do you mean by "resubmitted"?

The fact that there is an outstanding default judgment does not prevent anyone from assignng or selling the underlying debt to a ca for collection.

If, the OC is reporting the account as charged off with a 0 balance, and a ca is reporting it for X $$ & there is a judgment on record all on your credit report, then it is "legal". You probably can dispute the OC or the Ca entry or both. How old is the judgment filing date & what State are you in?
